The center of the drama and story elements in Dragon Age 2 involves the mages and templars. If you want to have a personal investment to help you make decisions about what your character will do, then you can choose what type of investment you will have.



If you play as a mage, then what the templars want to do to mages--as well as what the dangerous power of a mage can do to others--will be a very personal matter. You are an apostate this time, and others fear your power.



If you'd rather have the dilemma be from the outside world, then you can play as a rogue or warrior and let your sister be the mage and choose whether to screw her over or protect her, whereas in the first case it will be your brother struggling with whether to fear you or stand with you.



I normally begin with a rogue as I did in origins, and I will later have a playthrough where I'm removed from the conflict, but for Dragon Age 2 mages are much more action-oriented and balanced in gameplay, and the lore and story elements are too good to pass up. I want to bomb things with fireballs and I want the conflict in the world to be a really personal thing for my Hawke. Also, the Hawke family line has a long tradition going back to heroic and powerful mages. So I will be playing a mage first this time; I think it will be awesome.Which class will you pick for dragon age 2?
definitely warrior or rouge i would bother with mage because your sister is already one so let her sit back and cast spells and ****. if you played the demo thenm you know the whole fighting thing is sorta different becaus eyour character doesnt fight by himself and you can move around a lot more. also the level up thing is different too so i would just paly the game 3 time thru and get to be a mage rouge and warrior thats the best way to go in my opinionWhich class will you pick for dragon age 2?
imma play as a warrior my first play thru and my second play thru imma play a rogue....and its does matter what class you play as cause if you play as a warrior or rogue ur brother dies but if you play as a mage your sister dies which i dont like too much cause im like well what if you dont want your sibling to die lol but yes it does matter to a certain point but you do get to play as all classes with the other class characters on ur team
