Can you costomoze your ch. In dragon age 2?

In dragon age 2 i picked the hawke with the scar on his nose and it would not let me costomize so i started the game. Im not exactly far in the game but i did alot and i dont know how to get back to my character and portrait page to costomize my ch. Is it even posible? Pleez help tell me how 2 change my portrait and character.Can you costomoze your ch. In dragon age 2?
If you have the DLC Black Emporium then you can customise your character at any point in the story. If you don't have it however there is no other way except starting again.

As for customising a character with the scar on the face, it is impossible. The first 2 presets you cannot change at all unless you have downloaded a mod that allows you to do so.Can you costomoze your ch. In dragon age 2?
Yes, if you have a PC - take yourself over to DragonAge.nexus.com and you can download the blood-scar for anyone mod.

The first two heads, one with the mark and one without, are not editable. If you had selected any of the following preset heads they would have been customizable. The only way to change your appearance now is if you have the Black Emporium DLC. It might have come free with your game, there is a mirror that allows you to edit your appearance any time during the game.
