This happened with my 360 as well, but only after I installed the game. I figured it might have been the installation that triggered it, so I deleted the game off my 360, and when I tried to play it (uninstalled), the terrains showed up again. Try your hand at it.

Dragon Age 2 Sundermount is missing!?
It's actually more like the terrain is missing. When I get to Sundermount it's just a black background. No terrain at all is visible. I can still see the characters and hear the background sounds but no terrain. I have Dragon Age 2 for the PS3.
